Day Four, finally! I've been
itching to get to this one, because RAPE is absolutely the WORST
CRIME, short of MURDER. Every RAPE victim permanently loses
part of themselves, because part of their FUTURE is stolen from
them. Only those of us who have been RAPED really know what
RAPE has done to us. It never, ever goes away. Never, ever.
You and I define that word by the memory of what happened to us. But for the benefit of those who don't know, because they can't, RAPE is really a weak word for something hundreds of millions of human beings have suffered. I tried to find a better word, but that's it. No synonyms; surprising to me. I'm going to use my experience to make it crystal clear what RAPE is. Mild words used on TV, like "assault," are STUPID. Here goes.
RAPE is the insertion of ANYTHING into ANY body orifice of ANY other human being, male or female, by ANYONE, before YOU (an adult), gave him or her permission to do so, by saying YES. If you said YES, because you trust the person, and especially if there is love in the air between you, terrific. Otherwise, it is RAPE. Did this happen to you?
1-800-656-HOPE (1-800-656-4673). It is ALWAYS RAPE of a child, because they are are TOO YOUNG TO GIVE ANYONE PERMISSION.
Some uninformed people seem to think FORCE is necessary to charge a perpetrator with RAPE. Wake up! RAPISTS use FEAR, DRUGS, LIES, anything to get their way. And who he is, or how good the lawyers are, if he did NOT hear the word YES, he RAPED you. Yes, Fat Albert was a SERIAL RAPIST, and his horrible "wife" a female misogynist. Drugs, no force needed. Words not minced here.
Girls AND Boys. If a bad, bad thing like that has not happened to you, keep reading just in case it does. I have some advice for every boy and girl who feels as rotten as I did when I was your age, because a big person hurt me when I was a kid, like you. You hate him (or her), and you might hate yourself even more. Don't go there, OK? Don't hold it in, don't keep the secret, don't be afraid. You MUST tell someone, but you're a nice kid, and don't know what to do. Be brave, and call NOW: 1-800-656-HOPE (1-800-656-4673).
That's a group called RAINN. Someone there will tell you what you should do next. Or just call 9-1-1. Call NOW, before it happens again. SAVE YOURSELF. Be especially brave if the bad person is in your FAMILY. An uncle, cousin, even your own father. People that close to you are dangerous, because they can get you again. You need to report them right away to the Police or Sheriff. Call 9-1-1.
OK, YOU creep. You can see I've been writing about YOU and what you DID. Man up. No, actually you can't. It's impossible for you to even think of a word like that, because you have disgraced all MEN by committing a very serious CRIME. YOU invaded someone else's body. RAPE. Such an inhumane act. Are YOU still a human being? Turn yourself in. TODAY. Otherwise, you are just another piece of garbage.
For some RAPE victims, death would have been more merciful, right then and there. But you left a human being behind, devastated, humiliated, and forever after, in fear of that ever happening to them. YOU are a CRIMINAL, and in most countries, you will pay for your crime. So before you do anything else TODAY, go to the police, sheriff, whoever, CONFESS. Yes, you will be punished, but you should CONFESS to your CRIME before they catch up to you, and you know that. Call 9-1-1, they'll be happy to pick you up.
YOU will feel better about yourself. Think it over while you're in the lockup. When you go before a Judge, just say these three little words:GUILTY, YOUR HONOR. The poor person you hurt won't have to go through a trial, and relive the terror all over again. Whether you are asked to make a statement or not, APOLOGIZE. It won't be much comfort to anyone but you, but just maybe the Judge might go easy on you.
WHY? Because you might save your victim's life by turning yourself in. Some tortured souls can't handle what YOU did to THEM. They end their life by killing their body, like my brother did, 17 years young. Better he had used his gun on the subhuman sadistic rat who RAPED us over and over, while the weak woman who could have been a good "mother" to us chose to be his accomplice, instead of our protector.
